Inspira Network schools tell how Cloe helped remote education during the pandemic

Com projetos e expedições, a plataforma integra alunos, aumenta o engajamento e facilita o aprendizado nos colégios ACesso e Physics

No início de 2020, os colégios ACesso, localizado em Curitiba, no Paraná, e Physics, com várias unidades no estado do Pará, ambos pertencentes à rede Inspira, passaram a utilizar a Cloe na Educação Infantil, nas disciplinas de Português, Matemática do Ensino Fundamental, além das disciplinas modernas, oferecidas no Garage 21. Pouco após a formação dos professores, oferecida pela equipe da Cloe, em parceria com a Universidade de Columbia, iniciou-se o contingenciamento das escolas pela pandemia e, com ele, um período de constantes adaptações. Para entender qual foi o papel da plataforma nesse processo, Guida Weber, coordenadora do ACesso, e Lorena Jacob, diretora pedagógica da Regional Norte do Colégio Physics, compartilharam a experiência com a Cloe nesse novo cenário educacional.  

Em um primeiro momento, temia-se que a presença e o engajamento do estudante diminuíssem por conta da distância do ambiente escolar. “Quando se trabalha com o aluno a metodologia de projeto, percebe-se um gostinho de quero mais. Ele sabe que, a cada passo e continuação do conteúdo, vai ter algo novo a ser feito” conta Guida, explicando que o interesse do aluno foi mantido durante o processo. “A Cloe trabalha com o encantamento, levando o conteúdo de uma forma muito dinâmica e de fácil assimilação”. 

No ACesso, também foi necessário renovar o método avaliativo e a Cloe foi protagonista na mudança. “Nós acreditamos que a avaliação do aluno pelas expedições é uma avaliação processual, que leva em conta toda a aprendizagem; a cada aula ele desenvolve uma habilidade nova”. Para a diretora, a plataforma de ensino permitiu avaliar o estudante de maneira mais completa, abrindo espaço, também, para o descobrimento. 

No entanto, o ensino a distância altera a dinâmica da casa como um todo e, em um primeiro momento, muitos pais sentiram-se perdidos frente os novos formatos. Lorena Jacob, diretora pedagógica do Colégio Physics, fala que após essa primeira fase, começaram a vir elogios das famílias. “Os pais passaram a trazer o quão positiva foi a implementação da plataforma, contando para a gente sobre o engajamento dos filhos nos trabalhos e projetos”. 

A plataforma Cloe, mesmo sendo pensada para o ensino presencial, facilita a apoia de forma significativa o ensino remoto. Segundo a diretora, a escola pretende manter a Cloe mesmo com o retorno das aulas presenciais. “Alguns alunos não vão se sentir confortáveis em voltar para a aula presencial e a plataforma vai continuar facilitando o manejo da disposição da aula remota”, afirma Lorena Jacob, lembrando que, no novo processo de adaptação a este modelo híbrido presencial e remoto, muitos casos devem ser considerados e a decisão de cada família deve ser respeitada. A Cloe entra com o papel de conciliar esses cenários. 

E, para Guida Weber, conciliar é uma boa palavra para descrever a plataforma. “A Cloe possui coisas mágicas, como o trabalho em projetos e as expedições, desenvolvidas de forma criativa e dinâmica. Tudo leva a um fácil desenvolvimento das habilidades dos alunos e envolve toda a comunidade escolar, as famílias, os professores e a demais equipe pedagógica. A plataforma tem essa força de integrar”, afirma.

With projects and expeditions, the platform integrates students, increases engagement and facilitates learning at ACesso and Physics schools

In the beginning of 2020, the schools ACesso, located in Curitiba, Paraná, and Physics, with several units in the state of Pará, both belonging to the Inspira network, started to use Cloe in Early Childhood Education, in Portuguese, Elementary School Mathematics, in addition to the modern subjects, offered at Garage 21. Shortly after the teacher training, offered by the Cloe team, in partnership with Columbia University, the contingency of schools by the pandemic began, and with it, a period of constant adaptations. To understand the role of the platform in this process, Guida Weber, ACesso coordinator, and Lorena Jacob, pedagogical director of the Northern Regional of Colégio Physics, shared the experience with Cloe in this new educational scenario. & Nbsp; & nbsp;

At first, it was feared that the student’s presence and engagement would decrease due to the distance from the school environment. “When working with the student on the project methodology, you get a taste for more. He knows that, with each step and continuation of the content, there will be something new to be done ”says Guida, explaining that the student’s interest was maintained during the process. “Cloe works with enchantment, taking the content in a very dynamic and easy to assimilate way.” & Nbsp;

At ACesso, it was also necessary to renew the evaluation method and Cloe was the protagonist in the change. “We believe that student assessment by expeditions is a procedural assessment, which takes into account all learning; every class he develops a new skill ”. For the director, the teaching platform made it possible to assess the student more fully, also opening space for discovery. & Nbsp;

However, distance learning alters the dynamics of the home as a whole and, at first, many parents felt lost in the face of new formats. Lorena Jacob, pedagogical director of Colégio Physics, says that after this first phase, praise from families started to come. “Parents started to show how positive the platform’s implementation was, telling us about their children’s engagement in jobs and projects.” & Nbsp;

The Cloe platform, even though designed for face-to-face teaching, facilitates and significantly supports remote teaching. According to the director, the school intends to keep Cloe even with the return of the face-to-face classes. “Some students will not feel comfortable going back to the classroom, and the platform will continue to facilitate the management of the remote classroom layout,” says Lorena Jacob, recalling that, in the new process of adapting to this classroom and remote hybrid model, many cases must be considered and the decision of each family must be respected. Cloe takes on the role of reconciling these scenarios. & Nbsp;

And, for Guida Weber, reconciling is a good word to describe the platform. “Cloe has magical things, like project work and expeditions, developed in a creative and dynamic way. Everything leads to an easy development of the students’ skills and involves the whole school community, families, teachers and other pedagogical staff. The platform has this strength to integrate ”, he says.
